Shark Black Friday deals 2026: the vacuum prices worth waiting for
Short answer: the Shark PowerDetect Speed with auto-empty dock at £319 on Amazon is close to its lowest price, so it's fine to buy now. For most other Shark cordless and upright vacuums, last year's Black Friday prices were lower than what's on offer today, so wait until late November if you can.

£200 off, and AO and Very match it. It has been £299 at its cheapest, so Black Friday might shave off another £20. The dock empties the bin for you.
Shark PowerDetect self-empty robot vacuum (AV2820VEUKWH)
£200 off on Shark's own site. The base empties the robot's bin, so you only deal with dust every few weeks.
Shark WandVac cordless handheld vacuum (WV200UK)
AO and Very match it. Light enough for stairs, sofas and the car. It was £89 at its cheapest in the last three months.
Shark PowerPro Pet cordless stick vacuum (IZ380UKT)
Down from £199 last week, but it was about £160 at Black Friday last year and earlier this autumn.
Shark Classic Upright vacuum (NV602UK)
The price has been rising. It was £116 last Black Friday and about £129 in the last three months, so hold off.
Shark Classic Steam Mop (S1000UK)
£20 off, with a free gift on Shark's site. A cheap way to clean hard floors without chemicals.

These are the prices Shark vacuums hit around last year's Black Friday sales. If you see one at or below this figure, it's a genuinely good deal.

Which Shark vacuum should you buy?
Cordless or upright? Cordless stick vacuums are lighter and quicker for everyday tidying, and most double as a handheld for stairs and the car. Corded uprights cost less for the same suction and never run out of battery, which suits a big house with lots of carpet.
Is the auto-empty dock worth it? If you have pets or allergies, yes: it empties the bin into a sealed bag, so you're not tipping dust out by hand. Otherwise it's a nice-to-have, and models without the dock are usually £50 to £100 cheaper.
PowerDetect vs PowerPro: PowerDetect models sense dirt and adjust suction automatically, which helps battery life. PowerPro models are simpler and cheaper. For most homes, a discounted PowerPro is the better value.
When do Shark prices drop?
Black Friday 2026 is on Friday 27 November. Shark usually starts cutting prices in the week before, and Amazon, Argos, Currys and Shark's own website tend to match each other quickly. Shark's own site sometimes adds free extra tools or a longer warranty, so check it before you buy elsewhere.
Robot vacuums: Shark's PowerDetect self-empty robot is already £200 off on its own site, and the Matrix Plus 2-in-1 (RV2620WAUK) is £244 at AO against £325 on Amazon, with a recent low of £229. Robot vacuums tend to get some of the biggest Black Friday cuts, so only buy now if the price is close to the lows we quote.
Is it worth waiting for Black Friday for a Shark vacuum?
Usually yes for cordless models, which see the biggest cuts. The exception is the PowerDetect Speed Clean & Empty, which is already within £20 of its lowest price.
Are Shark's Black Friday discounts real?
Partly. Shark's full prices are high, so "£200 off" sounds bigger than it is. Compare against the target prices above, not the "was" price.
Shark or Dyson?
